I am Lisa Lohu, the designer behind Lisa Kroeber Jewellery, a German jewellery artist, who found my love and life in Estonia.
2010 after graduating my Jewellery- and Gemstone Design studies in Germany (Idar-Oberstein) I moved to Estonia and started to work on my own jewellery series from a shared studio in Tallinn. Back then my name was Lisa Kröber and so I created my brand under this name – Lisa Kroeber Jewellery was born.
In 2018 I moved to the countryside of Estonia, together with my husband Viljar and our first born child Ekke. Since then we are based in the South of Estonia, living in the middle of the nature close to Viljandi. And not only our family has grown with our second son Uku and our cat Mau, but also my brand developed and it is now a small family business: together with Viljar, I run our workshop in Viljandi and working with two employees, Maarja and Hanna-Elisabeth.
Me and Maarja are sharing the goldsmithy, where I create new prototypes and series, organize the working process and client orders, working on the computer and behind the bench.
Maarja helps with the production and with the finishing of pieces. She is also giving jewellery courses in our workshop.
Next to the goldsmithy, Viljar has his workshop, where he works on the cutting and painting machinery. He is also doing all logistics and helps me out in any kind of matters.
Hanna is responsible for our social media performances, comes to our studio to take pictures and videos and helps thinking out marketing strategies.
