I am the designer behind Lisa Kroeber Jewellery, German jewellery artist Lisa Lohu, who found both love and life in Estonia.

In 2010, after graduating in Jewellery and Gemstone Design in Germany (Idar-Oberstein), I moved to Estonia and began creating my first jewellery collections in a shared studio in Tallinn. At that time, my name was Lisa Kröber, and under that name I created my brand – Lisa Kroeber Jewellery was born.

In 2018, together with my husband Viljar and our first child, Ekke, we moved to the countryside of South Estonia, near the small town of Viljandi.

Over the years, both my family and my brand have grown. Today, I am the mother of two wonderful sons, Uku and Ekke, as well as our cat Mau and our dog Jakko. And my other “baby”, Lisa Kroeber Jewellery, has grown into a recognised jewellery brand, which I run independently as a designer and maker.

All jewellery pieces are designed and handcrafted by me in my Viljandi studio – from the first idea to the final product – with great love, care, and craftsmanship. Every piece reflects my passion for clean lines, bold colours, and contemporary design, combining German precision with Nordic simplicity.

Together with my assistant Maarja, I work in the goldsmith’s workshop. While I focus on design, product development, and the overall creative direction of the brand, Maarja supports the production process, helps with finishing the jewellery, and also leads jewellery workshops for our visitors.

Next to the goldsmith’s workshop is our production area, where the colourful components are cut, sandpapered and powder-coated. This is home to the large, loud, and sometimes dusty machinery that plays an essential role in our production process. Viljar is responsible for cutting and powder-coating the pieces.

We also have a showroom in just next to our working area, where visitors are always welcome to meet me in person, discover the collections, try on different styles and colours, and find the pieces that suit them best.

Although Estonia has been my home for many years, I still feel deeply connected to my German roots. That is why, a few years ago, I also registered a business in Germany.

In my hometown of Winningen, my mother helps make Lisa Kroeber Jewellery visible in Germany as well. She presents and sells my jewellery locally and regularly represents the brand at selected arts, crafts, and design markets.

I believe in creating products that are better for our world, becoming part of your life story, forming an intimacy between you and your jewellery, to cherish and keep. All products are consciously crafted, responsibly and ethically sourced for a more eco- friendly sustainable lifestyle.

I believe in quality goods with an honest origin. In jewellery which is made with love and care and do not harm the environment. We take care that all our jewellery is produced locally and under the best working conditions.
